A Special Education Parent Advocacy Group
based in Milford, Connecticut. 

We are a resource and support for Parents
and Teachers of Special Education children in Milford and surrounding towns. 

PRIMARY MISSION
- To help new Special Education parents AVOID THIS:

and to
- Provide vital information and support.
- Help parents understand Special Education issues.
- Equip parents to hold schools accountable for effective educational results. 
- Advance the quality and delivery of Special Education services .

  • Learn what SEPTO Network is all about, and what we have planned for the 2012/2013 school year.
  • Meet with other parents and caregivers of children with special needs.
  • Share your ideas with us so we can better serve you and your child's needs.
  • Celebrate with us as we present our 1st Annual Advocacy Award, which is given to individuals who are didicated and passionate champinos for children with special needs and their families.

MADDIE SWEEDLER
Maddie is an 8th grader at West Shore Middle School, and a former Milford Eagles Cheerleader who was diagnosed in 2007 with leukemia.
She is now battling this awful disease again.
She is an amazing, resilient young lady and we are happy to host this benefit night for her.
All Proceeds will go to the Maddie Sweedler Benefit Trust.

PARENT SUPPORT MEETINGS
We get together for monthly "closed door" meetings with other parents of Special Education children, in a safe and confidential setting, to share ideas and learn about special educaiton issues that parents are facing.  These are usually held on the LAST WEDNESDAY of the month. (see Meetings )
