Who we are

A Special Education Parent Advocacy Group
based in Milford, Connecticut. 

We are a resource and support for Parents and Teachers of Special Education children in Milford and surrounding towns. 

PRIMARY MISSION
- To help new Special Education parents AVOID THIS:


and
- To provide vital information and support to parents of Special Education students.

- To help parents understand Special Education issues.

- To equip parents to hold schools accountable for effective educational results. 

-To advance the quality and delivery of Special Education services in our public schools.

PARENT SUPPORT MEETINGS
We get together for monthly "closed door" meetings with other parents of Special Education children, in a safe and confidential setting, to share ideas and learn about special educaiton issues that parents are facing.  These are usually held on the LAST WEDNESDAY of the month. (see Meetings )
